This immersive three-day conference weaves together theology and therapy in a raw, honest exploration of pain, perseverance, and transformation. Using the metaphor of a difficult trail — wet socks, jagged rocks, and that persistent stone in your boot — we walk through the places in life that wear us down and discover how God meets us in the discomfort. Expect deep group work, individual reflection, and clinically grounded therapeutic experiences in a spiritually rich environment. Master Trainer Julia Muir wrote: "Theotherapy is a biblical approach to emotional healing and transformation. It teaches biblical principles which lead a Christian more deeply through their journey of sanctification. Romans 12 tells us we are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and that we are not to be conformed to this world. Rejection, anger, anxiety and other negative emotions from relational hurts may be harbored inside our hearts meaning that by default we are confirmed by something other than Christ. These emotional hurts affect our thinking and behavior making us reactive. They influence our mood causing us to struggle with our walk with Christ and our relationships with others. Often, Christians contend wiht the faith they adhere to and the conflicts they struggle with meaning a person can feel inauthentic. Theotherapy addresses these issues in a biblical way bringing healing and wholeness. About Us Journey Counselling is overseen by Dr Julia Muir who has over 25 years counselling experience as a Theotherapist. Theotherapy was pioneered by Dr Mark Rivera and is used internationally and is governed by Christian Counselling International (CCI). We have a large team of male and female counselors who are available in-person or via online appointments.
